The Lemon Tree Bungalow is a place of peace like very few are found. You will hardly find adequate words to describe how your state of mind will benefit from staying in this simple but charming tiny house at the back of Palma and in the middle of the Mediterranean environment. The ships entering the port, the seagulls, the hens, the sheep, the cats and the birds are mixing up to catapult you into the heart of nature.
We, the owners live in the same compound but the bungalow is served by its own entrance, bathroom with shower and patio from where one can see green fields dotted with rows of orange, lemon and palm trees, often cherished by the sounds of nature. The bungalow is some 18 square meters and the patio outside is some 10. You can also enjoy the terrace for your private use, some 150 square meters more for you to enjoy. The bungalow offers a super comfortable bed-sofa that is made up of real mattresses of 80*90 each: all in all you will sleep in a 160*90 double bed. And a private toilet with shower is featured as well.
There is no proper kitchen but you can count on: a private fridge, toaster, coffee machine, microwave, plates, cutlery, so that you can prepare basic meals and breakfast. Or you can count on the smashing offer of the many restaurants in Genova, that you can reach by a pleasant walking through the residential streets of the village. Can Pep, Can Pedro, Ca na Juana are just an example, but many others are hanging on the hills of Genova, you will be simply pleased to let yourself be guided by the incredible smell of delicious food that starting at 8 pm is invading the its streets. A little supermarket, a bakery and an alternative medicine shop are just behind the corner, maybe 150 meters walking. The bakery serves mallorquin pastry and savy food in a pleasant patio where to have your lunch and breakfast, if you want to change scenario.
One of the entrances of Bellver Castle is just 250 meters away, the bus stop leading you downtown and to the beach is only 150 metres away. Santa Catalina, one of the most coloured and lively district in Palma, is 10 minutes drive and 4 bus stops to go.
The district of Génova is located just a couple of kilometers away from Palma and is long time especially known for its restaurants of mallorquin cuisine. If you reach the top of Génova you can enjoy a smashing view on Palma and on the Sierra of Na Burguesa, where to have great excursions and hiking. Another interesting attraction of Génova are its caves which lie 36 meters below the level of the sea.
Spending a few days here is the homeopathic remedy for every illness. Cats Moby, Kiki, Bongo and Dog Pepe confirm it as well, enjoying the beauty of the finca! …Keep it in mind if you are not an animal lover….maybe better book another lodging!
